Kettling

the kettle is whistling. so the water is boiling

the water is done. the boiling water is for tea

and the tea is wrapped in a box so

the tea is done. the boiling water for the

tea in the box is for the mug on the table and the table

is steady so the mug is done. and the world is

warm, the clock is right, the war is in a box

on the desk by the sofa so the war is done.

the ceylon is in the cupboard, the smell is warm,

the war is in a box by the sofa nearby tea is

nearly steeped in boiled water so

the mood isn’t rude and we are sitting

sipping tea to twist the coffee rule and the

world is warm. the clock is right.

there are people in the box on the street. the street

is steady, so they are done. you’re dirty. the shower is warm. the gel

is in a bottle in the shower. crocuses are in the

factory, tulips, poppies. so it is done. time for bed. the clock is in the phone.

so it is done. kettle is whistling, a box in your pocket is tingling.

so it is done.
