they get buried in their best clothes- only clothes-

the dead ones stay famous longer than most- standing-

buried standing is de rigueur- nowhere to sit- posing-

underground- houses beyond the mountains- waiting- inching-

waiting to invade- begging to wash your dust away. blue

sky. no trash. armed with trucks- for $30 a day-

mansions on the mountain watch and wait. sick squirrels

in wrinkled suits and bluetooths. classic cars- damsels in

dragons- de rigueur- please stand- hold that pose- it’s a parade
